I also got a long nap. Wonder if there will ever be a Mother's Day when that isn't the first -- and really only -- thing that I want?! Besides Mexican take-out for dinner, of course.

Peonies are gorgeous! They grow like crazy at my parents' house in Maine. So envious. My favorite flower is still the hydrangea.

I'm with you. Peonies make my heart race with their lively pinks and whites. I especially like them in the mornings before they open and they have drops of moisture sparkling on their closed petals. I see Lins has told you we have an abundance of them in Maine, and they will be blooming profusely by late June. I can't wait. I'm so glad you dropped by, and I look forward to your posts.
