Well, friends, what a week. Things get a little intense when Ben goes out of town; throw on top of that a sick kid and it's downright exhausting. He's back now, and I have every mind to round up all the blankets and pillows in our house and make a gigantic pallet on the floor, stay in there all weekend, and read magazines and eat Twizzlers [and if I had some of those adorable striped socks, I'd wear those on too!].
P.S. do all of you know what a "pallet" is? Someone told me once that that word "must be a Southern thing?"

can we really make a pallet and read magazines all weekend? oh that would be dreamy. if you pull it off, my future trip to florida is closer than i thought.

we recently checked out "the story about ping" from the library. have you read it?
i haven't read that one, but i'm intrigued now. going to have to check it out!
