The Master Key

Do you know the Oliver Wendell Holmes quote "Love is the master key that opens the gates of happiness?" That's the inspiration behind this design. I wanted there to be meaning behind the symbol without it being overt, and to maintain the elegance of a classic invitation in a modern version.

And for the suite, I'd be tempted to line the envelopes in a pattern that looks a bit like the inside cover of an old novel, a la Persuasion, perhaps? [the one shown is from Paper Source] I'd also put the quote on the reply card and/or program.

Positively ADORE this design! I have a key design that I keep kind of secret. I pull it out for special occasions. But I am loving how clean and modern yet elegant yours is hanging from a string. FABULOUS work. Off to VOTE for ya!

I just realized another thing I'm loving...the colors! I did a pale Provence kind of blue and rich red monogram design for myself the very first year in business...six years ago. It's still one of my personal faves, but it's been out of rotation for quite a while.

I'm just loving how fresh but classic your design looks!
