The story is about two women at different stages in life and how their lives intersect. The emotions, struggles and relationships portrayed are deeply moving.
And if you are looking for something a little more entertaining, check out Three Girls and Their Brother by Theresa Rebeck.
The novel is about three sisters who become famous young and very quickly, and their brother who is in the middle of it all. I found it very entertaining!
