Nurture Your Inner Architect

We went to the house of one of my younger son's classmates yesterday, and they had a huge set of Kapla blocks. I've seen these before - they had some at the Children's Museum in Boston - but I had never been in front of an entire bucket full. These blocks are seriously addictive. I really could've built with these things for hours.

The Marine Pine blocks are made from 100% renewable forests in France. The wood is not treated either. [Click here for more safety info] There are a couple different sets with prices ranging from $30 to $400.
