I wouldn't mind staying in this house for a weekend getaway to the English countryside! The estate, originally built in 1902, was renovated using local craftsmen, reclaimed materials and an eye toward maintaining the integrity of the original structure. I think it's a beautiful example of how both old and new can be incorporated together to create a modern, eco-conscious dwelling without losing the original old world charm.
